Balance is the Key

1. Noah built the ark by faith but, he used measurements. There is a place for rational thinking in our walk of faith. Not all decisions should be made with blind hope!

2. Sarah's pregnancy was a miracle, but it took nine months just like any other. God's plans do not negate the importance of process. Sometime you need to wait or work it out.

3. The stone that killed *Goliath* might have been anointed, but David's skill was also involved. Developing skills does not mean you are not anointed. If you play a piano, play it to the fullest. Don't take us through the agony of listening to your cacophony in the name of "singing to the Lord". Skills are important. There is nothing rude with telling that sister "you can't sing, find something else to do in the house of God".

Boko Haram releases more Chibok Schoolgirls

There are reports that more of the Chibok schoolgirls have been released. However the actual number has not been verified. Some reports claim 80 while others claim 82. However a new report from Sahara Reporters claim that they are indeed 62.

These girls were abducted by the militant sect in mid-April 2014.

It is claimed that the release of the 80 abducted school girls came after further negotiations between the Islamist group and the Muhammadu Buhari administration.

Jury in America says Johnson's Powder causes ovarian cancer; awards plaintiff $110.5 million

What was considered one of the essentials for baby care and mother care in the good ole days has turned into a possible danger.

A St. Louis jury in America has ruled that the talc in its iconic baby powder causes ovarian cancer. This was the verdict in a case involving Lois Slemp, 62, of Wise, Virginia, who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2012. Lois blames her illness on her use of the company's talcum powder-containing products for more than 40 years.

Lois was awarded $110.5 million.

This is the fourth time this is happening. Three other jury trials in St. Louis reached similar outcomes last year, awarding the plaintiffs $72 million, $70.1 million and $55 million, for a combined total of $307.6 million.

However, the company says its product is safe, and it plans to appeal the latest verdict, as it has the other three.
