"Happiness can't be downloaded like a Smartphone App," Pope Francis to teenagers.

Pope Francis told thousands of teenagers that happiness is not an app you can download on your mobile phone, on Sunday (April 24) at a mass to mark a weekend dedicated to youth.

He used the reference to connect to teens aged 13-16 who are converging on Rome for a Holy Year weekend for teenagers.

During his homily Sunday in St. Peter’s Square, he told a crowd of 100,000 that;

“Freedom is not always about doing what you want. In fact it is the gift of being able to choose the right way,” he said in a homily punctuated by regular bursts of applause from the crowd on a packed St Peter’s Square.

The husband of the late gospel singer who was found dead in a hotel room in Edo State, Yvonne Omoarebokhae, Odion, has called out Apostle Psalm Okpe,  the General Overseer of the Fresh Oil Ministry, a Lagos based pentecostal church, saying the man of God drugged and murdered his wife after he invited her to the hotel in preparation for a concert he allegedly told her he was organizing.

A Tsunami of the Word of God has hit Nigeria!

A Christian SPOKEN WORD POETRY CONFERENCE (SWPC) has hit the Nigerian environment with the raw truth of the Gospel! With three successful editions held already, there is still more to come.
The fourth edition will hold on 30th APRIL, 2016 at RCCG, UPPER ROOM PARISH, it is tagged

SPOKEN WORD POETRY CONFERENCE (SWPC) is hosted by a company called: LUKE 6:45. It came from a deep yearning in the hearts of a team of young people to speak the heart and mind of God through poetry.

A conference which kicked off on the tenth day in August, 2014 can already boast of having about two hundred people in attendance. Apart from the consistent growth SWPC has, the testimony of saved lives is proof that God is indeed involved in what we do.

SWPC is a conference designed not just for the youths but also those who are young at heart. Spoken word poetry is gradually taking the market of entertainment and SWPC is one of such mediums. We are aware of the devil’s tricks and how he would stop at nothing until he completely has the heart of the youths, but we also know that the no matter how much he fights, the TRUTH WILL ALWAYS PREVAIL! We at LUKE 6:45 are dedicated to SPEAKING this truth!

Nigerians! GET READY!

A TSUNAMI IS ABOUT TO STORM OUR ROOFS! This isn’t the usual tsunami, it’s a TSUNAMI OF WORDS! Not just any kind of words, it’s a TSUNAMI OF THE WORD OF GOD!

Kaduna Anti Christian Bill - First Step to Islamisation

Malam El Rufai, appears to be one of the arrows aimed at making Christians very uncomfortable in Nigeria, by anti- Christian Forces of this country. In January 2013, the former FCT, Abuja Minister wanted to please his god fathers in politics,as a governor ship aspirant in Kaduna State, twitted an insult on the person of Jesus Christ, claiming Jesus had sex with Mary Magdalene.

Christians reacted to his insensitive, irresponsible and offensive saying about Christ, and his attack on the sensibilities of Christians globally, which betrayed his his lack of respect for our Lord Jesus Christ and obvious hatred for Christians.

His reply which added insults to the injury includes "I must say I am taken aback by the extent of desperate misrepresentation of what was an innocuous attempt to show the godlessness of the Jonathanians to denigrate anyone that dares to ask them to be accountable," "To those who were genuinely offended by the retweet, I apologise. I did not mean to offend anyone. Jesus or Isa Alaihis Salaam is a respected prophet of Islam. Every Muslim accepts this in addition to his miraculous virgin birth. It is therefore absurd for any Muslim believer to disrespect Jesus Christ," he added.

Restructuring Gospel Music Awards, MEGA

Nigerian gospel artistes, artiste managers, promoters, label owners, marketers and gospel entertainment stakeholders, who have been enquiring and eager to enter for this year's Nigeria premier Gospel Music Awards- Music and Entertainment Gospel Awards (MEGA) have been admonished to hold their peace as the central working committee (CWC) of the award says the award is undergoing total overhauling to upgrade it to international standard. Coordinator of the award and entertainment journalism guru, Femi Akintunde Johnson (FAJ), said in an interview that MEGA Awards was undergoing a major restructuring that would see it repackaged for global impact.
